TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – The suspect and victim in a fatal shooting Saturday evening have been identified.
Taylorsville Police tell ABC 4 News that around 4 p.m. Saturday evening officers responded to 2601 west Summer Ridge drive on reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival officers discovered 35year-old, Anthony Fili deceased in his apartment.
According to police, Fili had been shot at least one time in the chest.
Officers located Rodney Liti in the same proximity and started a brief foot chase. Liti was found to be in possession of personal property belonging to the victim as well as Methamphetamine.
Liti was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, restricted person in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of justice, evidence tampering and resisting arrest.
Three other individuals are believed to be connected to the case. They are described as;
1. 6”0 Polynesian male, black hair, brown eyes, heavy build approximately 25-35 years-old.
2. 5’8, Caucasian female, blonde hair, thin build approximately 25-35 years-old
3. 5’0 Caucasian female, black hair, thin build, 25-35 years-old
