Pole dancing has become synonymous with exotic and strip dancing. Just like many things, perceptions, styles and understanding can change with the times. I found it fascinating that in India, there is an actual sport that revolves around pole dancing called "Mallakhamb". They have even appeared on Ellen! I found this sport intriguing as well as quite an athletic feat. Perhaps, definitions need some realignment?? You decide. I do pole fitness what is wrong with? My kids join me from time to time. So I think people need to get out of the box and look at it from a different view.

Hate to say it, but due to the small and closed minds of the local population of Utah, that is what they think. All you have to do is look at the pole that is on the playground that doesn't have the ball on the chain anymore and what would children do to play with the pole? So no I do not see anything wrong with children playing or dancing on the pole. Also, I grew up living in a military family all over the world and I grew up with an open mind.
