Utah cities named worst air quality in the country

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah has earned a national title, we really can't be proud of. Logan, Provo and Brigham City come in at the top for the worst air in the country.

The EPA releases a daily list of cities that have the worst air every day and on Monday it was Logan and Provo. Tuesday Logan, Provo and Brigham City topped the list.

Utah's DAQ advises everyone to drive as little as possible and be aware of what they are doing. The youth and elderly really need to avoid being outside because it can be very harmful to those two groups.

I stopped smoking so I would avoid cancer. I don't know why Utah is so against smoking but doesn't seem to care much about pollution.

Why not have two weeks of annual telecommuting for the office crowd? Utah could realize that this time of year, we have to do something dramatic. So people work from home for two weeks.
