we should not have to be made to ware a helmet. It's our right to choose. These people should be fighting to get the top 2 percent of income to pay there fair share of taxes. After all they make their money from use.

If their purpose is to save Medicare costs, lets make it illegal for someone over the age of 78 to walk around without a cane. I am sure that the costs of broken hips are extremely high as well, if you want to infringe on someone’s rights over money why stop at helmets? I’m sure we can save alot of money infringing on everyone’s rights in one way or another.

28 people died on motorcycles this year in Utah, right? 10 of those were not wearing helmets, while the other 18 were. That sounds to me like your chances are pretty good that you will die if you wear a helmet. Perhaps that is exactly what this wannabe dictator senator wants. Who votes these fools into office. I encourage my fellow Utahns to call this fool and tell him there are far more important things for him to do for his constituents than making another STUPID law.

medicare payments? what? if you ride a motorcycle in the state, you are required to have insurance.. which pays you medical bills...if injury's from not wearing helmets cost more, the insurance companies will adjust their rates for motorcycle riders. the free market..how does medicare come in to this? ...I need to move to a state that does not elect such obvious idiots....i i could fine one...
