SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Lt. Gov. Greg Bell's office has kicked off a multimedia ad campaign urging Utah residents to register to vote.
The push coincides with Tuesday's National Voter Registration Day, six weeks before the election.
Bell says voters have more robust resources than ever to learn about the issues before they head to the polls. He says they've also got a variety of ways to cast their ballot.
Bell's office runs the
election information website vote.utah.gov. Visitors can register to vote, update their registration information, find a polling place, or do research on the site.
The campaign features billboards and TV, radio, and online ads themed around how residents can be "heroes" by educating themselves before the election.
