SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Highway Patrol's Criminal Interdiction Team worked around the clock in Sevier County for three days and made some pretty big drug busts.
The team primarily focused on enforcing traffic laws, preventing crashes, and detecting and stopping criminal activity on Interstate 70.
Troopers investigated two crashes, made twelve misdemeanor drug arrests, and three significant drug seizures, which resulted in over 250 pounds of high grade marijuana being taken off the streets.
During one of the seizures, a wanted man was taken into custody on a homicide charge.
