Utah Highway Patrol arrest 26 in DUI roundup

Salt Lake City, Utah (ABC 4 News)- The Utah Highway Patrol reported 26 people were arrested as part of labor day weekend operation. The operation took place on Saturday night.
The UHP tells ABC 4 that there were 127 traffic stops, 26 people were detained on suspicion of driving under the influence, two people were found to have warrants and one person was arrested for being in possession of drugs.
The round up was partially paid for by the New Car Dealers of Utah who on Friday announced they would be giving the Utah Highway Patrol five thousand dollars to pay for overtime expenses of the patrol.
