What message is he going to send? That his conviction rate means more than getting it right in the first place or that innocence, and the pain of having to defend it after exoneration, means nothing to him? That being responsible with tax payer funding means nothing? He spent millions on an education case, taking it all the way to Federal Appeals, before it was overturned as the state not having begun to meet its obigation.
