SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A federal grand jury has indicted a Ukrainian man for drunkenly disrupting a Delta Airlines flight and trying to bribe the FBI agents who arrested him

The indictment against Anatoliy Baranovich charges him with damaging and disabling an aircraft, interfering with a flight crew, bribery of a public official, and assaulting and resisting officers.

Officials say that as a flight from Boston to Salt Lake City was landing on October 15, Baranovich began yelling because he believed the wing of the plane was on fire.

Officials say Baranovich told investigators he had been visiting family in the Ukraine and had gotten drunk for fifty straight days.
