Two children found after shooting airsoft into moving car

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Two twelve-year-old boys were detained after admitting to police that they fired an air soft gun and the air soft discs hit a passenger in a moving vehicle. 

The incident happened just before 5pm on Thursday night near the intersection of 7800 south and Highland Drive.  
 
Police say the two boys fired a gun attempting to hit moving cars. 

One of the pellets went through the passenger side window of a car and hit a child in the forehead. 

The child had minor injuries and refused treatment. 

The two boys were detained by the police who claim they plan on filing charges against the boys.

I hate it when people misuse Airsoft guns. It makes the sport and players look like thugs and delinquents. People need to educate themselves and realize the harm they are going to do in their actions. I found a lot of info here: http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-info.htm.
