KAMAS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Two brothers were flown to Primary Children's Medical Center after falling out of a vehicle traveling on the Highway 150 near Kamas.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old were trying to keep items from falling out of the SUV after its tailgate opened up.

Both males were initially wearing safety belts, but removed them when they tried to save the items, according to authorities.

The female driver was cited for failure to use a safety belt.

I was there directly after the accident. Was wondering on the conditions of the boys and the two sisters that were running down the street.
