SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – Two suspects involved in “The List” investigation led by the Utah Attorney General's Office will appear in court on Monday.
Teresa Bassett, who is now known as London Grace Wellington, and Leah Carson are the two suspects in the Utah Attorney General’s Office investigation of “The List” which was launched right after the document surfaced last summer.
“The List” appeared in the summer of 2010 when it was sent anonymously by two Department of Workforce Services employees to law enforcement, media, and several government agencies. Names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers and some sensitive medical records of alleged illegal immigrants were on “The List”. The senders demanded those listed be “deported immediately”.
According to the Attorney General's office, Leah Carson’s hearing will take place on Monday morning at 10 a.m. while Teresa Bassett will appear in court later that day at 1:30 p.m.
