Who is it that makes this statement? I suppose some kind of "statistical" information is the source, but where is it? Who gathered it? Better yet who developed it?? Statistics are easily manipulated, skewed and more often than not biased. I live in Tooele and my observation of obese people is no different than in Salt Lake City, Bountiful, St. George or any other city in the state. In fact, obesity is a national problem not a local state county issue! Is this really a newsworthy topic? Seems more likely to me that some news reporters have way too much time on their hands.
