SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Mitt Romney is on the cover of the latest Time magazine.
Its title is the, "The Mormon Identity."
Right next to the stained glass drawing of Mitt Romney, the caption reads,
"What Mitt Romney's faith tells us about his vision and values."
The article draws from Romney's 2007 speech, the one where he talked about his LDS faith and the presidency.
In that speech, Romney said,
"I do not define my candidacy by my religion. A person should not be elected because of his faith, nor should he be rejected by his faith."
In addition to sharing rarely seen photos of Romney, the article talks about how,
“Romney’s faith is central to his life and may be critical to any comeback. What the history of Mormonism tells
us about his vision – and pragmatism.”
And should Romney be elected president, Time magazine also talks about where Mitt and Ann Romney may go to church.
According to Time, “...the [LDS] ward’s new chapel will be dedicated on 16th street – even closer to the White House.”
