SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) A duplex caught fire early Saturday morning, burning the roof off and displacing 5 occupants. 

The fire was at a duplex on 560 E. Millcreek Way at about 1 a.m. Multiple calls were made and firefighters made it onto the scene with minutes. However, by the time they arrived, the fire reached the attic and by the end it destroyed the roof. 

The cause of the fire is unknown, but started in the garage area. About $150,000 worth of damage was done. The two families are displaced, but staying with relatives.The Red Cross is assisting the family with care packages.
