WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Senator John McCain appeared at a town hall meeting supporting Mia Love Thursday night.

Love is running against 6 term Democratic Congressman Jim Matheson.

McCain spoke to a crowd of over 300 people at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. He said Love holds the same conservative values he believes in.

ABC 4 News asked McCain what he though of the Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan ticket.

"I am convinced Mitt Romney will be the next president of the United States of America," McCain said.

He said Romney and Ryan have specific plans to save jobs and the economy.

"We can't continue on the path of debt and deficit we are on now," he added.

McCain and other national GOP stars visiting Utah want Love in the 4th District Congressional seat for Republican to maintain control of the U.S. House.

John McCain, that wise man who picked Sarah Palin to be Vice President, is now supporting Not Quite White Mia Love. No matter how she tries to be white, she never quite succeeds. Amazing how basically dumb ass John McCain manages to scrape the bottom of the barrel every time, especially with this flood plain suburb mayor. Take your little Arizona mind and go back across the border.
