SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Nearly two weeks after a 16-year-old boy was found shot to death in a wooded area in Sugarhouse, police arrest a woman who may have information.

36 year old Jessica Reyos is now behind bars. Police picked her up Tuesday. They said she's the first of many arrests detectives will make in murder of Kenyatta Winston.

"They're out rounding up people as we're speaking," said Det. Dennis McGowan, Salt Lake City Police Dept.

Police won't say how she's involved, but said they're throwing her in jail for lying to cops about the case.

Winston's family last saw him alive on August 26th. Three days later construction workers found his body in a brush area off of 2700 South in Sugarhouse. Police said he'd been shot to death.

"Basically we don't know what he was doing in that area, and we're not aware of him having any friends or family in that area," said Det. John Ashdown, Salt Lake City Police Dept.

For nearly two weeks police have tried to find his killer.

"The investigators have been relentless in following up on everything, every shred of evidence, they've interviewed countless witnesses," said McGowan.

Now it appears that hard work is paying off. Although police won't tell who is next, they said Jessica Reyos won't be alone.

To ACGetsitDone: Your comment is definitely strange. What makes you think I'm a lawyer, and what exactly is a "good client" for a criminal defense lawyer? Also, what words are misspelled?

I'm pretty sure if my defense attorney posted comments and discussed a case in an open forum, I would fire them immediately. Furthermore, your grammar and spelling are atrocious. That mail order law degree may get you some clients, but it will never get you good ones. Your unprofessional actions and poor writing skills give lawyers a bad name.

Jessica has nothing to do with this case. She has never been involved in a crime, did not know the victim and had no motive to see him killed. She is a hard working mother and grandmother who has has the same job for 17 year working at the county office building. This is nothing more than a witch hunt by Detective Hardin. Currently there are no charges against Jessica they are just holding her for 72 hours because they can. This detective gives cops a bad name. I think he is the next Lisa Steed.
