Runaway tortoise found wandering in downtown Logan

LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A large tortoise was found wandering in downtown Logan on Monday.
Logan animal control officers took the 100-pound-plus African spurred tortoise to the Willow Park Zoo, where the owner later identified and claimed the animal.
The tortoise was seen wandering near the Logan LDS Temple at 200 East and 200 North.
A Logan city official said it took two officers to load the tortoise into a truck.
The tortoise's owner said the animal is a pet.
