Roundabout wildfire now 50 percent contained

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Crews made good progress today towards containment of the Roundabout wildfire burning 20 miles northwest of Cedar City.

The wildfire which is now 2,458 acres is 50 percent contained with full containment being estimated to occur Thursday at 8 p.m. It was first reported Monday, October 1st, at 4:20 p.m.

No evacuations for this fire are in affect and the cause of the fire, which is believed to be human caused, is still under investigation.

The public is being asked to avoid the Kern River Pipeline Road, the Lost Springs Road, and the Horse Valley Road.
