Zion National Park, Ut (ABC 4 News)- A rock slide stranded 11 hikers on the Hidden Canyon trail in Zion National Park on Wednesday evening.    Park rangers jumped into action setting up a rope line and provided the stranded residents helmets and rescue.

Brandon Torres with the National Park Service has confirmed there were no injuries with the rescue operation. The side became active once again early Thursday morning moving nearly six feet of debris down a narrow and steep section of the trail making it impassable.  The trail was closed to the public because of the impassibility of the trial.

The park service must wait until the ground is stabilized and they can figure out a way around the side.
