SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - It's primary day in Utah.
State residents have the chance to vote in a number of key federal, state and local races.
But unfortunately voter turnout is very low at some polling places.
In fact, at one Salt Lake County polling place, they had just two voters by noon.
One disappointed voter told us,
"We're talking democracy here and if you don't vote, you don't get a voice."
In the key races, Senator Orrin Hatch is facing his first primary since the last century.
But in a interview with ABC 4, the six term senator didn't exactly sound worried,
"I feel real good about it. I think things are going okay."
But one of the few voters we found suggested things were not okay,
“Orrin has been there just a little bit too long. I think he's had his chance."
Now, in other races:
Mitt Romney is the heavy favorite to win Utah’s presidential primary, which is the last of 2012.
Also, there are Republican races to pick candidates to try and replace Attorney General Mark Shurtleff and County Mayor Peter Corroon.
The state auditor’s race may be close as well.
Finally, some incumbent legislators could be in trouble too.
But the one making national news is the Hatch race.
