Police officer shoots Sunset man

SUNSET, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A Sunset police officer shot at a man holding a gun Monday morning.
Police say the officer went to a home at 1100 North 250 West after a 911 hang up and saw him at the front door with a gun.
Police say the man fired a round in the house and pointed the gun at the officer.
Police say the officer ordered the man to drop the weapon and he wouldn't, so the officer fired three shots.
The suspect was hit three times, twice in the stomach.
The man was in surgery at Ogden Regional.
