OREM, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man handed a note to a an Orem bank teller claiming he had a bomb and demanding money on Friday.
According to police, the suspect walked into the Chase Bank on 1115 North 800 East at 9:36 a.m.
Police say the suspect was a white male, 5'6' tall, medium build, wearing a black/gray coat and black pants.
Police say that even though the man passed a note to the teller claiming that he had a bomb, no bomb was seen and no one was hurt.
Orem authorities say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot heading West towards Iggy's.
Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the Orem Department of Public Safety at (801) 229-7070.
