SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Transportation Security Administration officials say a female passenger traveling out of Salt Lake City International on Sunday had a pink stun gun in her carry-on bag.
TSA officials say the passenger surrendered the device to officers and continued on her flight from SLC.
Last week, TSA nationally discovered nine stun guns in carry-on baggage.
TSA officials say the SLC event serves as a good opportunity to remind the traveling public that stun guns are always prohibited in carry-on baggage, and that if traveling with a stun gun, passengers should place the device in their checked baggage.
