BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah (ABC 4 News) Christmas has come early for skiers and snow boarders Saturday after 8 to 10 inches of snow fell over night, with more on the way.
Ski resorts expect big business now that most college and high school classes are wrapping up winter break. This coupled with a snowy forecast is making the slopes very busy this weekend. Saturday was Brighton Ski Resorts biggest day of business since Thanksgiving, according to a spokesperson.
The resort is even offering $20 lift tickets for those who donate a bag of non-perishable food to the Utah Food Bank.
