Officer accidentally shot during training exercises

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - An accident during a training exercise sent a member of the Box Elder County SWAT team to the hospital in serious condition.
The officer was shot in the foot by an AR-15 near the Docs Flat Campground Friday afternoon.
Police tell ABC 4 the officer was climbing when the AR-15 the officer had slung across his back discharged, striking him in the foot.
The injured SWAT team member was flown to an Ogden area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
