SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Dozens gathered at the Utah State Democratic Headquarters in Salt Lake City to watch the Democratic National Convention conclude Thursday with President Barack Obama addressing the nation.

"It was a really good speech to end the convention with," Laura Burgett said.

Many Obama supporters watched Mitt Romney's speech. They said Obama's words were more powerful.

"I think Barack Obama really closed the deal undecided people's minds," John Kateel said.

The night was extra special for Liz Muniz. The candidate for State Representative in District 33 watched two of her brother and mother stand on the delegation floor in front of the President.

"It is very exciting for me to see that our family has come so far," Muniz said. "We are engaged in the political process."

Jim Gonzales, Joe Gonzales and 74-year-old Georgia Gonzales are lifelong democrats who traveled to North Carolina.

"She is very excited," Muniz said. "My brothers took her to Denver in 2008 and she had the time of her life."

The family was initially scheduled to stand being Obama during his address, but inclement weather moved the speech to an indoor auditorium and changed the audience layout.

The Muniz family isn't alone when they believe Obama should be elected to serve another four years.

"Nobody can do it in four years," Burgett added. "He needs another four years to finish it."

It would be absolutely fantastic if the reporters on TV and in print in the Great State of Utah took the time to proofread their work. The use of grammar and proper punctuation and spelling would also be ideal. Perhaps the station should pull this article until the person putting the copy online has had a chance to attend an English class. "The candidate for State Representative in District 33 watched two of her brother and mother..." and "The family was initially scheduled to stand being Obama"

Great scene in the movie American President, "This is a time for serious people, Bob, and your fifteen minutes are up. My name is Andrew Shepherd, and I *am* the President." Tonight President Obama declared, "I *am* the president." And put Mr. Romney on notice: Mr. Romney, your fifteen minutes are up.
