Neighbors call 911 when they spot a garage on fire

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A call to 911 by neighbors stops a garage fire from getting out of control.
Unified Fire Authority received a call just after 3 p.m. reporting neighbors were seeing smoke and flames coming from a garage in the 4800 block of Hidden Cove Drive.
Then crews arrived they found the same and worked quickly to contain the fire.
The fire was contained to the garage but there was smoke damage to other parts of the home.
The damage to the garage and the car inside was significant.
No one was home at the time.
The residents will be staying with family.
