SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Workers at Hostess Brands plants across the county are picketing amid news that the bankrupt company is closing three of its locations with the possibility of closing more.

Plants in Seattle, Washington; St. Louis, Missouri; and Cincinnati, Ohio are shutting down as a result of a nationwide strike.

Hostess Brands does have a plant in Ogden, although it is unknown if this could lead to the plant shutting its doors.

Employees were notified back in May of possible downsizing. Of all the notices sent out, 580 went to workers currently employed in Utah.

The company says it may be forced to liquidate more plants if the strike continues.
