MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) - A group of New Hampshire high school students studying Mandarin Chinese had a chance to practice talking with the only presidential hopeful who's fluent in Chinese.

On Wednesday, Republican Jon Huntsman, the former governor of Utah and U.S. ambassador to China, toured Merrimack High School, which has a strong Chinese language and cultural program.

He chatted with students in Chinese, and heard about the school's award-winning science programs.

Huntsman, who is counting on New Hampshire as his best shot at winning the GOP nomination, has so far lagged far behind in polls.
