SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The national spotlight shined on a home in Daybreak Sunday. Utahns came together for Extreme Makeover Home Edition to build a home for a little boy with a rare blood disorder.

Their hard work played out on ABC, and paid off for seven-year old Jonah Gomez and his family. Jessica Gomez, Jonah and his sister Ellie were whisked away to play at the Magic Kingdom while Utah volunteers and the Home Makeover team worked to build a house for them in less than a week. The family couldn't be more pleased with their new home.

“We love our house it's so beautiful. It's so beautiful inside. It’s spacious. People think this is the most famous house in the whole world."

The Gomez family held a party Sunday to watch themselves on the ABC hit television. Friends, volunteers, and some of their new neighbors joined them for the debut.

ABC 4 produced a special look behind the scenes at the Daybreak episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  All six parts of the hour long special are linked below.
