Mormon missionary applications spike after age change

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The missionary program for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints changed forever during October's general conference. The age requirements changed for when young people could leave and now the number of people signing up to go, has exploded.

I bet BYI, USU, the U and other colleges see a five-fold drop in enrollment. Really do hope the return missionaries choose to go to further their education (2 or 4 year) when they are back - otherwise we've just created an entire generation of under educated kids.
