More bars coming to downtown Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – The Salt Lake City Council has voted on whether to expand the zoning boundaries for alcohol related establishments.  The council voted 6 to 1 to allow pubs into neighborhoods. 

The primary area affected with this vote sits between 300 East, 500 East, South Temple and 400 South.

Other areas are included in the zoning change.

The area consists largely of apartment buildings and small businesses.
