SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is in Salt Lake City Friday evening for a fundraiser before participating in Olympic anniversary celebrations.
Romney is holding a fundraiser at The Little America hotel Friday evening at 6::30 pm.
Saturday, Romney will have another campaign meeting before attending a gathering of the 2002 Olympic Organizing Committee.
According to the campaign, he is also expected to attend the
"Stars on Ice" show at EnergySolutions Arena at 7:00 pm.
Romney was a key figure in organizing the 2002 Olympic Games in Utah.
Saturday marks the end of
festivities highlighting the anniversary of the 2002 Olympic Games.
