WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - West Valley City police haven't made any arrests in the case of a missing mother who hasn't been seen since Sunday but they say her disappearance is suspicious and there are more questions than answers after interviewing her husband.

ABC 4 News spoke with Susan Powell's father about her suspicious disappearance.

“I don't think Josh is a violent person, or there... I can't believe he would do something like that. I have a hard time believing that, but there are certain items of the story that don't add up… so... I don't know,” Powell’s father said.

Police have questioned Powell’s husband, Josh, but he is not saying a word.

Police served a search warrant and took several items they say Susan would not have left behind if she was going out.

Police say the entire family couldn't be found for 24 hours. It wasn't until Monday afternoon that Josh and his two children were contacted. Susans father wasn't notified of her disappearance until Tuesay.

Close friends are worried about where she may be. “We can't get any sleep. We're all sick to our stomachs. We just know something bad has happened because she would never, never leave her children,” Kirsi Hellewell, a friend of Susan’s said.

Meanwhile, their two children are staying with their paternal family. Police are hoping to get some answers and they are still asking the public to come forward if they know anything.
