SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Court documents show that a Salt Lake City man is facing felony charges for swiping a bronze sculpture from a city park and taking it to a house party.

The Desert News reports that Cody Collins Adams and two other people stole the statute of a quail from Davis Park in downtown Salt Lake City. Authorities say that they carried it to a nearby house party, leaving it in the backyard.

Residents at the house told authorities that they received a message on Facebook the morning after from the 23-year-old Adams telling them the quail sculpture was in the yard.

The statute is worth about $15,000.
