SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A 25-year-old Layton man is being accused of punching a female employee in the face at a Salt Lake County haunted house.

Angelo Demetry Apadaca was charged Wednesday with felony aggravated assault. Records show he was still in the Salt Lake County jail Thursday morning.

Police say surveillance video from the Nightmare on 13th Street attraction shows Apadaca looking at the employee before he punches her and she falls to the ground.

A witness told detectives Apadaca laughed about the incident and told his girlfriend how funny it was.

Police say they found the employee with blood on her face and with two teeth pushed back toward her throat.

Authorities say she was taken to the hospital to have the teeth re-set.

It's unclear whether Apadaca has an attorney.

What an idiot. I hope he sits in jail for a long time.
