PROVO, Utah (AP) - A Utah doctor suspected in his wife's death has pleaded not guilty to murder and obstruction of justice charges.

The Daily Herald of Provo reports that Martin MacNeill was in Provo's 4th District Court on Monday.

Lawyers say they will put on a vigorous defense of MacNeill at a trial set to begin March 5.

Michele MacNeill's body was found in a bathtub in 2007 at the couple's Pleasant Grove home.

Prosecutors claim her husband gave her a lethal dose of prescription drugs.

Medical examiners haven't been able to determine the cause of death.

MacNeill will return to court Nov. 26 for a scheduling conference.
