SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Jim Matheson and Mia Love took part in an ABC 4
News debate Saturday.
The debate was sponsored by the AARP.
The two 4th Congressional District candidates debated issues like social security,
Medicare, Medicaid, taxes, global warming and gay marriage.
But the most heated exchange came over the Department of Energy.
Matheson claims Love wants to do away with it.
This concerns him because the DOE oversees America's nuclear weapons.
Matheson, the Democratic candidate in the race, says Love hasn't done her
homework on this issue and isn't ready to be in Congress.
Love shot back that Matheson was being condescending.
The entire hour long debate has been posted on our website.
