Lawmaker suggests elimination of vehicle safety inspection

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - State Representative John Dougal is considering legislation that would eliminate vehicle safety inspections and limit emissions testing in Utah.

Hmmmm yet California (36.9 million) and Georgia (9.8 million) don't have higher accident rates and they don't require a safety inspection. I don't think the safety inspection will help the 2.7 million people in Utah if it doesn't help the 10 to 20 million in the bigger states. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_inspection_in_the_United_States

Silly idea of not having a vehicle saftey program. John Dougal say's that most vehicles pass inspection anyway. Well sure thay do because there inspected every year. Your not worried about those vehicles that pass the Stat's inspections it's those cars that can not or do not pass inspections. Get those vehicles that can not pass inspections "off the road" Think about it John.
