WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Like most Thanksgiving Eves, the grocery stores across Utah were packed with last minute shoppers. ABC 4 anchor Kim Fischer stopped by a Macey's in West Jordan to see how shoppers were holding up.
From the turkey freezer to the check out lines, the store was definitely more packed than an average night, but shoppers said it was manageable. The only issue, some of the more popular items were selling out.
"I was looking for tart cherries and there are none because everyone's making a cherry pie," said shopper Leslie Perkins.
But these shoppers said that's to be expected when you wait till the last minute.
