Huntsman named to Ford Motors board

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Former Utah Governor and GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman has been named to the Ford Motor Company's board of directors.

Ford released a statement stating that Huntsman brings extensive global and operational experience from his time as governor and also as U.S. ambassador to China.

It is believed this new opportunty could help a future White House run for Huntsman, who dropped out of the 2012 race in January.
