Highland residents vote for business closures on Sunday

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Highland residents will not have the option of shopping on Sunday after Proposition 6 was defeated 54.3 percent to 45.7 percent.

So much for Optional Sundays, the is religious/ideological fascism. Even If only 1 through 10 percent of a given demographic desire Sunday Trading , they should be given the freedom to trade and shop on Sundays. If the rest of the population are really hung up on keeping their Sundays work and commercial free then they would not venture to shop meanwhile the community would benefit from the productivity of those who choose to work. You might as well have only a noon lunch hour then . SMH.

"Those who opposed, said that the community has the right to establish values and considered the Sunday closure a traditional value." All I see is people forcing their religious beliefs down everyone's throats. This is all religious nonsense.
