Group of scouts stuck in Perry Canyon

MANTUA, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A group of scouts hiking in Perry Canyon, near Mantua, are stuck.

The scouts were hiking in steep terrain when they ran out of water and decided to stay put. The troop called search and rescue units, which have located the individuals. Lifeflight spotted the hikers and search and rescue personnel are on ATV vehicles approaching the scene.

It is reported that some of the scouts have the beginning signs of heat exhaustion and one has a cut on his hand.

Just how many scout troops need to get stuck by incompetent men put in leadership positions? Every year, many scout troops, disqualified men leading youth into the mountains putting them at risk and how many men have to risk their lives to save them and at what cost????????????????????
