Gov. rethinks nomination for exec to waste oversight board

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Sources are telling ABC 4 News the nominee that was scheduled for questioning before a Senate Committee Radiation Control Board will not be taking the position.
We are hearing Energy Solutions will make the announcement Thursday morning that Dan Shrum will be withdrawing his name for the position.
Sources say Gov. Herbert will be looking for qualified applicants as he reopens the position.
The Governor's Office doesn't know if this completely pushes the reset button for the process, sources say.
