MURRAY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Golf courses across most of Utah are bustling as they open for the season.
The Mick Riley Golf Course in Murray opened Monday.
"I said today's supposed to be pretty warm let's get our there and golf. So we got excited like little kids and got our stuff together and here we are," said Bill Boggs.
"It's this warm out. We can come and hit the balls in the holes," said Jarred Neilson.
PGA Head Professional Jeff Waters says the greens this year should be in great condition. Two feet of snow covered the course. It prevented golfers from walking on or wearing out the grass for three months it held grass treatments placed on the grass through the winter.
"Great shape last year. It wintered well. So we're expecting it to be in great condition this season as well," PGA Head Professional, Steve Young
