SANDY Utah (ABC 4 News) - A fast acting, retired police officer took down a bank robber in Sandy Friday afternoon. He talked with ABC 4 anchor Kim Fischer about his quick actions, but he refused to refer to himself as a hero.

Well (ABC 4 News), just a clarification on your story. This is not a "retired" police officer. He was fired from the Sheriffs Dept.
