Flight makes emergency landing due to deflated tire

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A Delta flight made an emergency landing at Salt Lake International Airport Saturday evening.

According to airport officials, Delta flight 89 had taken off from Salt Lake and was headed for Charles du Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France, when they learned of a deflated tire.

The flight returned to Salt Lake International Airport where 198 passengers remained on-board. The aircraft was towed to a gate and passengers were deplaned. Customers were offered meal service while on board, and will be accommodated on the next available flight to Charles du Gaulle.
