MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze, which started in the garage of a Millcreek home Friday evening.

When fire crews arrived to the home, they found a fully involved garage fire, said Cliff Burningham of Unified Fire Authority.

Burningham said crews were able to extinguish the blaze quickly, but the home suffered exterior, as well as smoke damage.

According to Burningham, the family had a good escape plan, which made it easier for crews to focus on fighting the fire.

Damages to the home are estimated around $50 thousand, he said.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
