The minimum wage law is choking our economy by creating job shortages. The solution is for the government to get out of the price setting business. 4000 years of prices setting by governments has proven that third party interference destroys economies.

Capitalism hasn't failed. Keynesianism and Federalism have failed. Get your facts straight before diagnosing problems. Slaves of the federal plantation end up supporting the plantation owners? that makes no sense.

I recall that recently the U.S. government failed to pay THEIR workers on time (which included my Dad and many friends who were serving in the military at the time-some who were at war), because they were about to shut down. Why didn't this crazy DOL lady write a letter to all the U.S. government contractors and ask them to cease all business with the U.S. government? Hypocrites.

Don't pay your workers, don't have a product. They couldn't even afford the minimum wage, so, a bad business model. Capitalism has moved on, fair labor standards help capitalism be allowing a middle-class. Sad story however.

This is insane. Anyone who's worked at a business during a rough patch has waited for a paycheck. I know I have. Even more absurd is that the it is all due to losing a line of credit to fill in the slumps in their revenue stream. Say hello to the fourth branch of government, our benevolent overlords, the permanent bureaucratic class.

It should stay open....every business hits hard times, that's just part of a business and closing it sure won't help our crappy economy thanks to our crappy government. And Lee Ann Dunbar needs to learn how to proof read letters before they are sent out to make sure her phonetics are correct; thanks to her errors I had to re-read it twice in a couple of places.....looked like the typical letter sent from a smartphone with those errors! And it states "voluntarily as you"....then goes on to say they would be in possible violation......you cannot have it both ways. it's either voluntary or a violation...make up your mind!
